"How Paricle Theory is used to improve water technology.

I believe it's spelled Particle Theory, correct?

Anyway, Particle Theory pertains to things like phase changes in materials...in your example water can phase change from a solid (ice) to liquid to a gas (steam).

Where particle theory relates to techology improvements for water...one area would be air conditioning.

Water has a unique property where it phase change from liquid to gas (evaporation) is dependent on ambient air pressure. I know of one such recent invention where the company was able to cool the air in a room by using the lower evaporation temperature of water in a vacuum (airless container).

Particle Theory could also help explain why water vapor is attracted to cooler surfaces in a warm room.
