For my science project I have to do the following;Please help;;

Design & Build that uses hydraulics and pneumatics to life a platform. The platform must move at least 20 cm vertically,be stable and return to it's original position.

a) what materials should I use??

what should I do??

how the structure will meet the criteria

how structure works(using correct scientifc terminology

what forces affect the movement of ur structure explainn.

>> Connect the platform to the rod. Make sure to add guide post (sliding) at the edge of the platform to make it stable

>> High pressure air will push the rod outward thus pushing the platform up. The release of air to the cyclinder is controlled by a pneumatic valve.

what forces affect the movement of ur structure explainn.

>> Force to counteract the movement is just the weight of the object atop the platform and the platform itself. So you should have enough air pressure.
