Scotland Power Outlets?

Are power outlets in scotland the same as those in Canada? Will items such as Hairdryers and laptop chargers fit? Thanks!

No, you will need to buy an adapter to use them here, but you can pick those up anywhere.

no ... get a converter before you come ... if you've got several electrical things maybe buy more than one ... Scotland works off the same system as England and the rest of the UK

all main power outlets are 240 volts

all plug sockets are flat 3 pin

whatever you bring over will have to meet these, so if you do need an adapter either buy one at your home airport or any electrical store/diy shop over here
