why do they not have a train from northern Ireland to Scotland like say from ballycastle to isle of mull

  1. Probably because there is an expanse of water between the two called The Irish Sea...or maybe it's the Atlantic Ocean!


  2. No trains, the salt water messes with the tracks...

    But there are ferries between Scotland and Northern Ireland:
