  1. Agree with David H 100%.

Haggis is not a staple diet. It's just a famed Scottish food. But there's many other Scottish foods besides this, like chocolate Penguin Biscuits for starters. Never hear about that one!

  2. One of the main foods in Scotland is Haggis. This is a sheep or beef stomach that is stuffed with ground meat and organs mixed with barley and seasonings and then oven roasted. Scotland is a part of the U.K. It covers the northern third of the country. Capital city is Edinburgh, largest city is Glasgow.

  3. lamb, veal, pork and beef especially lamb and beef with root vegetables (potatoes and other tubers). Not so much leafy greens. Quite similar in general to Irish food.

These days it's a lot like America. A lot of fast food.

  4. They eat haggis with neeps and tatties.

  5. HAGGIS!

  6. I am a former chef and of Scottish/English and Irish heritage, and while Haggis is a scottish food, it is not a staple, they eat the same as the ohter in the UK, chicken, beef, pork, lamb and lots of fish, they like many veg and they are great bakers, wild game and fowl are also dishes they like.

There food is hardy and filling, I like alot of there dishes and have cooked a number in my years as a chef, haggis is something that is still available in Scotland but is more something used around Robbie Burns day, bashed neeps (turnips) and Tateys ( mashed potatos) are something like peas and othe veg served with there sausages, roast beef, salmon and spatchcocked chicken.
