Does the current Stirling bridge stand on the exact site of the bridge in place at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297? Also, was the original made of wood? Thanks

Yes the original was made of wood but was quite a bit further upstream than the current Stirling Bridge which was built some time later! xx
