What program of software would you recommend for recording whats on your computer screen. A program that will record while I'm playing intense 3d games. It doesn't have to be a free program, just a program that will do just this.

  1. Well, I use screenflow, but I have a Mac, I think it works with Windows.   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZJ8or_0T...  -  there is a really good screen casting video there.

  2. GameCam. The best and the most reliable.

Game Cam allows the recording of real-time in-game movies.

Game play footage can be recorded with or without sound.

Game Cam is designed to work with most DirectX 7, 8, 9, 10 and OpenGL games.

  3. Snagit is pretty good!!

  4. I prefer snagit

  5. i use fraps. its one of the best ones out there. i used to use it to record videos on toontown online. the free version puts in a watermark though.

  6. I think you want a Game Cam like this http://www.planetgamecam.com/,

Some screen recording software like DemoCreator(http://www.sameshow.com/demo-creator.htm... is just right for application video tutorial recording.

  7. Camtasia Studio check out the videos that use it on our site! http://www.mymediatutorials.com/news/rev...

  8. Well, I'd just go to Cnet and search "screen recorders".

You should find one, or at least a trial.

  9. You can pirate a program call autoscreenrecorder and get it for free.Works wonders on any system.

1)go to utorrent.com and download utorrent

    2)go to thepiratebay.org

3)search for autoscreenrecorder and download autoscreenrecorder pro--any one

4)open the downloaded .tor file in utorrent and wait for utorrent to download it.

5)follow instructions and enjoy the program!

  10. I do a lot of screencasts for my educational video podcast, and the one I've found to be great and easy to use is Total Screen Recorder. The screen recording is rendered as .AVI / WMV / SWF / FLV. I first do screen recordings in Total Screen Recorder (records audio as well if interested) and then, I upload it to Google Video so I can paste the code into my blog, and also put a link to Google Video for the higher resolution video. Once I download my own Google Video in .flv.

Why would you do that though? If for example you want a video/movie that you can't download or a nonconvertable file like .nsv, you would use this screen recorder to record the movie/file playing. Total Screen Recorder, I've found, does a much better resolution and compression than CamStudio. I have yet to try the latest Total Screen Recorder.
