Screwed on Ebay?

I bought a LG phone on Ebay from a guy who I think screwed me over. Half of the phone was paid through paypal and half through a money gram b/c his paypal messed up. I filed a claim through paypal and was told I should get that money back and I can take some actions to get he rest of my money back because I have all the reciepts and emails he sent. I can't get ahold of him now and he doesn't have an Ebay account anymore. I neevr go tthe phone and I'm wondering what the best course of action to take. I had a friend who sued a guy over an itm she didn't recieve (just the amount he took) and was told I should ocntact the police in his area because I have his address. Has anyone tried this? Any hel[ would be great!! Thanks

it depends if it is worth it to you to further pursue, try filing a complaint with the police in his area to force his hand, if not take it as a lesseoned earned, hope you get your money back good luck/

take a good word from me.... be very carefull what you buy on ebay....... look at there pos %%... under 100%.. not good....
