Does lard work for seasoning a cast iron skillet???

  1. Go to the famous cast iron skillet manufacturer's site at

    lodge.com.  You want to be sure to follow specific directions, otherwise, you will ruin your skillet.


  2. It works very well.

  3. Vegetable oil works better.
