The name will either be:

Sebastian Joseph Semenroe

or

Sebastien Joseph Semenroe

Which spelling do you prefer? One is English and one is French. My first son's name is French.

  1. Sabastian. I hate names with jacked-up spellings.

  2. Personally,  I prefer Sebastien. I just think it looks better :)

  3. The English spelling xx

  4. Either spelling is nice.

If you're living in an English-speaking country, most people will automatically spell the name as Sebastian.  Spelling it that way might make things a bit easier for your son.  (This spelling would be my personal choice.)

However, if you are a complete Francophile, want to honor your French heritage, or simply want your son's name to coordinate with your other son, I think that would give you a good reason for spelling it Sebastien.

You might also want to take the pronunciation into account.  If you are going to say suh-BAS-chin, then spell it like Sebastian.  If you are planning to call your son say-bas-TYAWN, then spell it the French way.

  5. Sebastian

  6. I much prefer Sebastien

  7. Hello Earthling.

What brings you to yahoo answers? Me, I have taken over Kelsey's account and she is locked in a closet. I have a plan for world conquer. My name is Miranda Donovan-Petunia the 14th.

Now Answering your question. EWWWWWWW!!! Sebastian or Sebastien how ever you spell it is a HORRID name! It makes me think of an older version of Sebastian on the movie The Little Mermaid.

    IT'S BUTT-UGLY!!

Don't ruin your child's life with naming them this. You disgust me.

    Good Bye,

    Miranda Donovan-Petunia the 14th.

    I hate you all.

  8. Both are equally bad. Please don't use Sebastian or Sebastien. What if he wants to be a doctor or something good in life.
