Second leg of 2012 CEV Junior Volleyball European Championship ready to be kicked off – Volleyball
Following a break of almost two months, the thrilling action of 2012 CEV Junior Women’s Volleyball European Championship is about to resume in the second week of April.
A total of 24 teams clawed their way to the second round of the Junior Volleyball European Championship. The grid of 24 teams has been divided into four pools, where each pool is composed of six teams.
Women’s junior volleyball teams from Latvia, Germany, Belarus, Lithuania, France, and Poland will play in the Pool A.
Likewise, the Pool B of the 2012 CEV Women’s Junior Volleyball European Championship will have another six teams which belong to Ukraine, Spain, Slovenia, Sweden, Croatia, and Belgium. Russia, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Hungry and Finland will be tagged
as Pool C teams.
Elsewhere, the Netherland, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Azerbaijan and Australia, have been placed in Pool D.
Pool A matches will be hosted by Belarus, while Slovenia will set up the field of play for Pool B matches. According to the set plan of Confederation European de Volleyball (CEV), Romania and Slovakia will host the Pool C and Pool D matches, respectively.
The 2nd round of the tournament will be opened on Wednesday, April 11 and all four groups will follow the same schedule. The European Volleyball Organising Body (CEV) and the local volleyball federations have everything in place and are totally prepared
to welcome the visiting teams.
The influential second round of the 2012 CEV Junior Volleyball European Championship will be covered in five flights, where each team will get to play five matches. The second round will last from April 11 to 15. The tournament will progress with elimination
bracket and only better teams will advance to the next round. The final rankings and points of second leg of the tournament will be disclosed on April 15.
So far all the participants are undergoing tough training and practice for the upcoming challenge.
However, the difference between good and bad will become evident as the teams will hit the centre court. The host countries will obviously have a competitive edge in the game as they will be equipped with the emotional support of local fans. To check all
