Okay I have my first baby on the way so I feel obligated to sell my Motorcycle. I have a 2003 CBR600F4I with 8K on it. I want to get at least $6500.00 for it because I have almost $10K into it. Here is a list of the mods & tell me what you think? Who ever buys this bike from me will be getting a h**l of a bike!

The bike is worth about 5K stock

In the last two months I have put another 5K into it.

Flush smoke front turn signals.

Carbon Fiber Mirror block off plates.

Yosh TRI Carbon Fiber racing exhaust

Pirelli racing tires

Chrome rims

Carbon Fiber Tank pad

Carbon Fiber Gas pad

Chrome Windscreen w/ graphics

Racing Suspension

New chain

Recent oil change

New spark plugs

K&N air filter

LED back light conversion tail kit

Plus I have all the stock parts & some, Honda racing coat, Two helmets, & Gloves.

I feel like I will be getting screwed royaly if I sell it for $6500.00 but I dont even know if I will be able to get that much because people go by bluebook. What do you think?

  1. I agree with the previous answer. When I sold parts for my RC51 on craigslist, I was flooded with calls. I found them very easy to sell.

  2. You'll never get your money back on those mods.

  3. People just don't want to buy that kind of bike with all the bells and whistles already on, put it back to stock, sell the excess on ebay, you certainly won't recoup your investment if you sell them attached to the bike. And keep the helmets no-one with any sense will want to buy secondhand helmets.
