Senior players failed miserably in IPL?

Laxman,Dravid ganguly and Tendulkar, they should be ashamed, they should retire and never play cricket and give way to youngsters like sharma,yuvi..

Dhoni ,yuvi and shewag managed to bring their team to semi finals

Not every one has failed!!! Dada has performed pretty well, laxman too. Rahul too did well.Sachin is ofcourse the best. See Australians- all kool(except for ponting)

Laxman and Tendulkar didn't get many chance...............

Dhoni could only bring his team to the semis due to the 4 consecutive wins when Hydos and Hussey were playing.

Yuvi - overall team performance and not due to his performance

Sehwag - if Gauti and Shewag fails then DD fails.

Ganguly and Dravid failed in IPL? I am suprised. By God's sake, dada and the wall are the only players, who fought for their teams, KKR and RCB respectively, till the last. It was their team which failed, not them. Ganguly, and Dravid got almost no support from their teammates. And cricket isn't a one man's game my friend-11 players need to perform to win a match. Poor Dada and Jammy could have done nothing to save the team. Both of them are the highest run scorers of their teams.  It's true that Laxman and Sachin hasn't done much, but first tell me, did they get enough chance? Laxman and Sachin has played only a few matches, and the master blaster has already scored a half century.

Before making such comments about the jewels of Indian cricket, make sure you get your stats, and all other information correct. Didn't you see the last match of KKR, where dada was the only batsman who stood up for his team, for his knock of 86*, which ultimately brought us the victory? Rahul Dravid also played such match winning innings for RCB in the past few matches. Consider how well Sourav bowled in the tournament.  Other seniors like Jaysurya, Warne, Gilly etc, has played  well. The seniors should be proud of what they had done, and continue playing cricket for many more years.

afridi laxman dravid kallis have failed with tendulkar ganguly mcgrath only just coping. but alot of seniors are also doing excellently jayasuriya gilchrist warne pollock dhoni are all doing excellently for their team!

i think u cant think clear clearly, tell me dhoni,yuvi and sehwag which match they played for team and let the team win, when team win that is nt captain's win that is a team work and every player help to win.

I m not agree with u. In 20-20 cricket it's about a game to hit 6's and 4's. I think Laxman is not suitable for 20/20 or ODI. He realizes that and he did not play a larger no. of matches for Decan. But Seniors like ganguly,dravid played some blisteric knock in IPL. So how can u say that seniors failed in IPL???

20Twenty is not a cricket, it is just an entertainment of 3 Hrs in the pretext of cricket it is made for slog-heater,puller and long handle user batsmen all international player including Indian senior player struggle in the IPL those who are perfectionist in the field of test & one day cricket eg. well...how much can a captair do, my dear jamuna?  Dravid, Ganguly and Tendulkar played as well as they possibly could have but if the guys don't perform as a team, the team is not going to win, is it?  Its unfair to blame everything on those guys.
