Serious Question about Dogs?

Is that movie title really true, do all dogs really go to heaven?

All I will say on the topic is, if I get to heaven and my dogs aren't there, I don't want to be there anyway.

Most religions will claim that dogs do not have souls.  Most people will claim that dogs are lesser creatures than humans.  Personally, I like to believe that my dogs do go to heaven.  Dogs live, we live, dogs die, we die.  Who's to say dogs do not go to heaven?  Human's who did in fact create religion, and let that religion grow though out the ages to act as a barrier for society to act.  All living beings who are decent are rewarded, all living beings who are "wrong or mean" are not rewarded.

In short, I believe all dogs do go to heaven (since [i could be wrong] lack the mental capacity to decide to be good or mean, they always have good intentions.

First they go to the Rainbow Bridge (google the poem, it makes me cry every time), then once their owners join them, they go on to Heaven together.

I watched the 700 Club (w/ Pat Roberson) once (w/ my Grandmother, lol) and he claimed that dogs didn't have souls and once they "were dead, they're dead" - However, I don't believe that. I love all animals (mainly dogs) and I believe they do have souls and I do believe that "all dogs go to heaven" - I love my pooch and would love to have her company in the afterlife!

I love that movie, by the way!

I think this is open to many interpretations. In all seriousness, my friend just ordered 4 or 5 books on this very subject. She is still extremely devastated over losing her 2 dogs in 1 month.

I'm not sure I have an opinion one way or the other. I think if it makes someone feel better to think that they do, then so be it. If someone else chooses to believe that their dog ceases to be as soon as he dies, then that's their choice, too.

Yay, so, I'm evasive today. :-)

And, I do believe in Heaven.

I did ask a question once if dogs had souls. I am not sure if they have or if they go to heaven, but I hope they do. It wouldn't be my idea of heaven if my dogs that had gone ahead were not there.

I read the different opinions with interest, each point of view perfectly valid.
