Serious dry hair issues?

I have a lot of damage from dying my hair, I lightened it a while ago but didn't like it so I ended up having to redye it my natural color 10 times in the past year or so because the color wouldn't stay after that bleaching. I have to wash my scalp daily because I live in Texas and it gets really hot. Now I'm covering the middle and ends of my hair in regular or deep conditioner, let it sit for 2 minutes then with it still in I wash only my roots and scalp. Then I rinse it out, put in regular conditioner, let it sit then rinse it again. I always spray it with k-pak liquid reconstructor afterwards and only blow dry my hair twice a week on medium heat not hot. My hair looks good but I hate try dry texture when I touch it. HELP?! I'm using salon products (biolage, bain de terre, k-pak) any miracle products?

  1. hi

    i used to live in death valley in california and man that was hot, so i know where your coming from! i tried loads of products which cost me alot and it really didnt help my dry hair, it was like straw, i phoned my friend In England and asked her if anything was good over there, are she reccomended this;

    http://www.boots.com/shop/product_detail...

    which really wsorked for me its 1pound 80 p, so thats about  $3.60 , it really worked for me, i ussed it with the conditioner and it made my hair so much softer and alot less dry, i also didnt brush my hair at all[only twice a week] , i used a comb and the bristles in the brush ruin your hair and made it corser.

    i also used  the serum below;

    http://www.boots.com/brandtreatment/prod...

    its about $12 but i think its worth it, it really helped me.

    i also used a leave in condtioner 3 times a week, and i left it in for about 5 minutes, its best to do in the bath with all your hair on your head so you can read a mag or something.

    im not sure if the proudcts i said are avaliable in america, like i said i got mine from england, they really helped for me, and it smells georgous too!

    hope this helps hun, and good luck =}

  2. i have naturally dryish hair plus i straighten it loads AND get highlights every 8 weeks..so i do this to keep it good....

    *DRINK ATLEAST 3 LITERS OF WATER A DAY

    *use loreal shampoo and conditioner for dry hair

    *use a loreal leave in conditioner twice a week

    *eat avocados/use them as a hair mask

    *take vitamin e supplements and omega 3, 6, 9

    *only wash your hair every 2/3 days

  3. Get shampoo like Giovanni's Organic Hair Care "Smooth as Silk" deeper moisture conditioner.

    When you take a shower, shampoo as usual, then squeeze the water out of your hair as much as possible, and apply this conditioner, but DONT RINSE IT OUT!! Leave it in for twenty or so minutes. You can watch TV while you're waiting or something. Then, go back into the shower and rinse it out. But you should wait for at least twenty minutes.

    you can find the conditioner on amazon !

  4. You HAVE to try this.. get ALMOND oil and leave it in your hair overnight.. then in the morning wash it out.. you'll probably have to wash your hair twice to get it all out.

    You don't necessarily have to put it in overnight, but I like doing it like that!

  5. I know how you feel. I use Chemistry Repair Conditioner. When you rub it in, it becomes warm and really help repair your hair when it is damaged from hair coloring!

  6. maybe it's to much product or just the heat that comes from texas. try using moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

  7. When my hair gets dry I do two things:

    first, there is something called Hair Cholesterol

    http://www.adiscountbeauty.com/page25.ht...

    it is a deep conditioner that contains NO alchohol, so it is in no way drying.

    For daily use I use TRESemme Anti-Breakage with vitamin b-12 and gelatin. The gelatin helps leave your hair feeling slippery smooth and hydrated. When you rinse it out try to only rinse it to the point where it still feels like there is a little left in your hair. And it smells awesome.
