Setting up FTP with Godaddy???

Question

I've never done webhosting with godaddy- I prefer a local business. I'm going to be setting up a site for someone that has already registered her domain and hosting through Godaddy.

How do I access the ftp??? I should be able to type in:

ftp://www.mysite.com in the URL

...and use the user name and password that you use to log in to the godaddy account. Correct? It's not working for me.

I also tried using filezilla, but that didn't work either.

If your using internet explorer you will have to click on "page" which is on the toolbar on the top right of your window then click 'open ftp site in internet explorer'.  Then you log in with your information.

Hostmonster webhosting is more realible than Godaddy and inexpensive also
