Severe sinus problems?

Right l'm going to watch a 30 min prog on i/player,when l get back lots of reassuring answers please.23 day headache,fever,and heat in body,lack of balance and fullness in head and earsfeeling incredibly faint.Extreme tiredness and irritability and muscle fatigue.Not too much nose or throat drip though and phlegm in throat only.Are these classic symptoms do you have these any personal stories.Seeing specialist some way off and can't work or function.The sinus blocks up again very quickly...

From your symptoms you sound generally run down. Make sure you get plenty of sleep and eat properly. I'm glad you are seeing a specialist, they can flush your sinuses under a general anaesthetic and that will greatly help. Take some over the counter sinus relief tablets and rest xxxxxxxx

Soup recipe to combat sinus

Few leaves of spinach

Small piece of turnips cut in small pieces

Small piece of carrot cut in small pieces

Green leaves of coriander

Small piece of ground ginger

Boil the mixture in a glass of water

Add a pinch of ground cummin seed, salt ad little lime juice to taste

You can also delete carrot or turnip if you like

i know how bad it can feel with sinus problems. i've had 3 ops to sort mine out - adenoids removed, polyps removed twice. try olbus oil in hot water, or olbus oil neat on your forehead at night - then cover with a cold flannel - very nice for bad headache. be carefull of nose drops as they can damage you nasal passages. sinus relief tablets are really good especially the ones with paracetamol. try and avoid milky foods - it can lead to a build up of phlegm. good luck babe and hope this helps some xx
