Shanghai and fiji?

what is the reason for the temperature difference between shanghai and fiji even though the are both almost the same difference away from the equator?

shanghai is almost the same as fiji but fiji is way hot.....check my profile if you don't believe that i live in fiji.

shanghai is about 23°C and today's temp. here in fiji is 29°C

another reason is that shanghai is in the noerthern hemispher and fiji is in the southern hemisphere.....in about may to october it's gona get cold in fiji while it's gona get hot in Shanghai
