Shared Accommodation in Brisbane?

My friend and I will be staying in Brisbane this June, July and August. Where is the best place to find cheap share accommodation? We are looking to pay around $120 a week each. Thanks

keep an eye on the courier mail. That is the brisbane paper.

For the next few days,  buy a copy of the curiour mail and look in the clasifieds section.  The are usualy a few, averageing around $140 a week.

Try a youth hostel. There are many in Brisbane, they are really for back pakers but anyone can stay in them and they are like dorms and a cheap way for accomodation, you can also get part time jobs through them as well if you want to work, but just make sure you have a working visa if you aren't from Australia. You have to join with youth hostels before you can stay in them, so check it out through your travel agent. They have really good prices and usualy they have shared kitchens with what you need in them too.
