  1. vaseline

  2. This was the solution for me and a couple of my friends.

Try putting  vaseline on it for a few days, twice a day. Every day you need to wash twice a day with antibacterial soap and use moisturizer after washing. If the irritation doesn't go away after a few days you can use cortisone based cream on it to clear the irritation.

Also, try to exfoliate with a loofah sponge. It can prevent ingrown hairs.

Wash with antibacterial soap before you shave, after you shave (so bacteria doesn't go into the freshly shaved skin). After shaving put on some vaseline.

I also tried waxing but I still had an irritation when the hair started growing again, and it was so painful I wanted to die!!!

  3. The red bumps are itchy because you hair will be wanting to grow through and well the only thing you can do to stop getting ingrown hairs is to exfoliate, do it 3 times a week with body lotion.

Next time get waxed by a pro, it doesnt hurt and you get use to a women looking at your bits after a while of doing it.

go and get an exfoliation glove

  4. It happens to the best of us the first couple of times then it gets used to being shaved, try to shave like the guys do going the way hair grows not against it that way you won't get the bumps also try opening the pores with a as hot as you can take it towel just be careful where you place it. That helped me even after the bumps and the itch hit

  5. You should be exfoliating daily to prevent what is called "Barber's rash". Use a loofah, or washcloth and scrub in a circular motion, to get rid of dead skin cells and encourage the stubble to break through the epidermis.

Also, do not shave every day. Waxing is a much better option. If you ask for the numbing solution to be applied, before waxing, and also if you take a painkiller, such as asprin, Tylenol, or Motrin, about an hour before your appointment, discomfort is eliminated. Also, over time less hair grows back. If you have a very experienced person waxing you, they will "rip" fast and this also helps eliminate discomfort. I have been getting waxed "completely bare, down there", for years. I do not feel any pain "during". A few hours after, I sometimes feel as if I have a mild sunburn "down there". But it lasts only for a couple hours.

As with shaving.. When you begin to see/feel stubble under the skin, start exfoliating daily. But do not exfoliate the day before your waxing appointment.

  6. next time, wax.

  7. You can use come Aveeno anti-itch cream...there are others out there.

it'll take time. it's a sensitive area...waxing is better but it can also be h**l if you're really sensitive.

  8. Well they are infected hair follicles.  Dump Alcohol all over it.. LOL

But really, may I suggest a product called coochy. It is for shaving down there and it prevents this issue.. GOOD STUFF.

What's with all the thumbs down... I usually give serious answers with much detail and great advice and still I don't get a thumbs up.  Now no one can take a little joke.

But really there is a product called COOCHY and it does work but you must use it when you shave. It is a shave type lotion for down there.

  9. Well the first time I shaved down there I was the same way. Its because your not used to shaving there. It will itch for awhile and the bumps will go away. Until then you will just have to deal with it or stop shaving. I think that the bumps and itching will probally go away by the third time shaving. Thats how I was 10 years ago

  10. no you just have to wait in a couple days they wont be itchy

  11. The key is EXFOLIATION!!!! Use like a rough face wash or even just a rough rag. The bumps come from your hair trying to grow back but it can't because it's getting "stuck" under your skin.
