Right... Ur dating Shawn Johnson....  Well, it doesn't matter who your girlfriend is, a really great gift would be something that shows that you really know her.  Maybe once she mentioned that she loved Italian food.  Take her to an Italian restaurant or even better, make her an Italian dinner.  Or she could have said that she really likes frogs and maybe her favorite color is purple.  Try and find her a purple frog.  If you get it as a stuffed animal you could get a necklace that slightly resembles that medal and put it around the frog's neck.  Just do something to show that you know who she is and that you remember the small things, the important detail that makes up who she is.
