Shawwal and ramadan fasting?

If I have my period during ramadan, does the 6 days fasting during shawwal make up for that, or do I have to fast both the shawwal and the period days?

The six days fasting of Shawwal is not Fardh (obligatory). However, if you fast it, it won't make up for your missed fasts. You better make up for your missed fasts and then you can fast the six days of Shawwal.

You should fast ur missed ones too beside ur shawwal fasting

first u can do shawwal one bcoz it just have one month time limit ,but after u done with your shawwal one you should do for your missed one .ASAP.
