Sheesha.....?

hi, is it wrong for a women to smoke sheesha in a cafe with a lot of men? i dont know why but i feel disrespectful, like the guys think bad of me, my friends do it and think im weird, what do you think ? this is in egypt by the way....

The first thing is whether its shisha or anything else, you shouldn't let yourself become a victim of peer pressure.

As to whether its respectable or not I think a lot depends in the type of shisha cafe or where ever you are smoking it.

I used to smoke shisha in public and never felt in anyway that doing so made me any less respected.  .

But there are definitely places,such as the cafes where guys hangout to watch the soccer etc. where I would never go to for either for shisha or coffee, as they are very obviously male domains.

Okay, i have to say BOTH opinions

1- U r free to do whatever u wanna do, NOBODY can tell u what to do & what not to do

So if u want - or u don't want - to smoke Shisha ... its all ur choice

2- Shisha is a very dangerous thing to the human health (men & women) ... i've heared a doctor says that when u smoke Shisha, it equals to smoke 2 packs of the worst tobacco at the same time

My opinion:

BOTH cigarettes & Shisha r killing the persons who uses them, i hope the whole world stop these stuff

i have a word to all smokers:

If u want to kill urself, kill urself away from me

Also don't pollute my environment by smoking these stuff, please

I see women smoking sheesha all the time in grand cafe or someplace like that....but i almost never see them in a small streetside cafe, and even if I wanted to smoke sheesha, I wouldn't dream of going to the streetside cafes to do so.

You mean Shisha? Of course not! Shisha is simply tobacco, and you're in a shisha bar. Theres nothing wrong with it. Enjoy it and have a good time!

I don't feel it is wrong for women to smoke shisha but i don't feel it's great either not just for women but for men to it is a persons choice whether they want to smoke shisha.  

If you like smoking it but feel disrespectful then why not smoke at home or in a private place.  I have seen women smoke it in cafes where there are a lot of men and these were Egyptian women and there wasn't anyone staring at them it was just accepted.  Many Egyptian women smoke cigarettes.  

Shisha is not good for the health and i don't think it looks very nice for a lady to smoke but that is my personal opinion i wouldn't give an evil look or pass my opinion it is someone choice. If you don't want to then you are not weird at all.

i don't think it's wrong cuz you are a woman, but people in egypt consider a woman who do this a w***e, due to the iron fist society of males.
