Question:

Shelf life of Polaroid Film?

by  |  earlier

I've shot on Polaroid for many years and it sad to think that it's coming to an end. I'm doing my best to stock up on what film is left on the market, but how long expired can Polaroid film be and still be able to produce a picture?

Thank to everyone for any help and suggestions. :3

  1. If stored under "ideal" conditions, you may use the film with minimum degradation for about a year after the expiry date printed on the box.  The key elements are temperature, humidity and exposure to radiation.  Keep the film in an air tight container, in refrigerator at the coldest spot (do not freeze) and wrapped in a lead container if possible.
