Shift in the touch screen menu

Question

I have been using the G88 since about 4 months. The screen menu is not responding accurately to touch. What I mean is that the icon I touch does not respond but some other icon responds to that. Also, the battery connector on the handset does not connect properly. I have to charge the battery in the extra desktop charger provided and then use it in the phone. This is very cumbersome. Any solutions to this please.
