Regardless of that, Celtic should be spending more on the team anyway.They are stated to be in the world's top 25 clubs (so are Rangers) in terms of turnover on merchandise etc as well as ticket sales. So forget about the silly money the English clubs get even for being relegated -- that's where Celtic are ALREADY, i.e. in the top 25.

If they claim to be a big club when it suits them, they should act like one. We should not be putting a team on the field that is outclassed man for man by anybody.
