OMG, doesnt he just play awesome! LOL not...yesterday i went to essendon vs geelong and watched the bombers get smashed but there was one guy who stood out more than the others. JASON LAYCOCK - yesterday i reckon he dropped 10 marks and missed the easiest goal ever. I mean come on who was he playing for GEELONG? And I hope Matthew Knights has now realized that you dont lose a player like Scott Lucas and replace him with a guy like Jason Laycock. Other than that GO THE BOMBERS for the rest of the year

  1. in a word, YES. what a drop kick. Or was that a drop mark?

where is courtney johns when we need him?

  2. Yes because he has a big c**k. LOL.

  3. I think it was just one of those days... Laycock usually plays awesome and he has improved a h**l of a lot since last year. It's amazing the change is the physical fitness that our guys have had. They have all muscled up a bit and it is only Round 2 remember. The team won several of the pre-season games as well without a lot of their senior players, so the game doesn't just revolve around 1 or 2 of them. Give us some time and I am sure that the team will pull together and get somewhere. It's true the other comment about sticking with your team through thick and thin, I have been Bomber fan all my life, they are like 'my boys' - I am sure that a lot of fans are passionate about them too, don't give up on them and be so harsh just yet! Stay true!

  4. i think it may be a bit harsh

i thought he wasnt essendons worst yesterday and which other ruckmen do they have? hille, and who else?

remember it is only round 2. essendon have carlton next week, srely he can stick around for that.

also, knights would be sacrificing his "go with the kids" mentality that got him the job in the first place if he drops laycock

  5. why just laycock, there were 23 othere out there darl.

it's a bit early to be bashing your own, give ya a little tip, when your team gets a flooging, thats the time to stick by them, there are plenty of back slappers when they are winning, they need support now!

  6. Jasaon Laycock is capable of playing well but never does.

  7. I think they should stay with Laycock, they only have rookie back up ruckmen

  8. Probably Jason gets stage fright. In fact It appeared that the whole team had the same ailment on Sunday.

These are young guys who are still learning the trade, and will take another few sessions in the Gym.

Capitalising on the opponents weaker side takes many games before a player can say that he is a well rounded player.

Young guys are usually all about chasing a kick, rather than playing in a team.

Sheedy wouldn't play McVeigh for two years until he learnt to be a team player, look at McVeigh now.

  9. Oh well Jason Laycock is just good for the ruck, when David Hille's on the interchange.

    And thats coz hes tall.

But general ball skills, i believe he lacks alot of it.
