NetGear Powerline HD Ethernet Starter Kit.

What the difference between the Adapter and Switches, please could someone explain?

I want to connect my PS3 into one, because the wireless signal keeps dropping.

It is possible to connect my PC to the Powerline and my PS3 to the PC via Ethernet? Would the computer need to be on, if I wanted to use the Internet on my PS3?

What is the cheapest price for one? Online or In-Store.

Has anyone else used a Homeplug/Powerline, are they better than Wireless connection, in terms of download speeds?

  1. i know your computer would need to be on and you could in theiory just link your ps3 with your computer directly and bridge the connection. but it would be best just to talk to the guys at best buy, circuit city, or another electronics store maybe even at a video game store.
