  1. A basal thermometer. My obgyn recommended for me to get one of them and take my temps every morning. Good luck!!!

  2. THAT BOOK TAKING CHARGE OF YOUR FERTILITY IS GOOD READ IT WHILE YOU ARE THERE IT WILL GIVE YOU SOME OPTIONS ALSO THE ONLY LUB YOU SHOULD US BESIDE YOUR OWN IN PRE SEED. IF NOT THEN EGG WHITES WORK THEY ARE NATURAL, HELP THE SPERM LIVE LONG, SWIM FASTER AND HARDER GOOD LUCK LOTS OF BABY DUST AND GOD BLESS!!!

  3. Eat healthy, take vitamins, stay hydrated, BD often, and chart your BBT!

you can chart for free at www.fertilityfriend.com

All you need is a basal thermometer. You take your temperature before you get out of bed every morning and you chart it on this website. It will tell you when you have ovulated. Unfortunately, that's too late. It's good to know that you are ovulating, but that is why you need to BD every other day to make sure that there are live sperm waiting when you do. Good luck to you!

PS - someone posted to use egg white as a lubricant. That is very dangerous as you can't tell if they contain salmonella and you could get a horrible infection. Stick to KY or vaseline.

  4. look into the vitamin vitex, or fertil-aide with contains vitex. We have been trying for 12 months and just started the vitex, my aunt got preggo on it after just one month, and there is alot of success stories online...also known as chaste berry, i thought it would take bad like other vitamins but it doesnt, it is kinda big though so if you have trouble swallowing pills it comes in liquid drops too!!!! you can take prenatals with it as far as I know, I am! Also there is a vitamin for men called Saw Palmetto (can get it at walmart) that is supposed to help the hubbies!!! You can get the vitex at local health food stores!! Good luck to ya and your hubby!

  5. Honestly, I would try the ovulation predictor kits before you buy Taking Charge of your Fertility. That book made me more anxious then it was worth. After I was done with it I was sure I couldn't conceive. So, I gave it away, bought a kit (after trying for about 6 months without one), and got pregnant on the first try!

  6. I'm not trying to be mean, but I don't think you are going to find what you need at Walmart, GNC or Barnes & Noble. All you need is patients and love and it will happen.

If you aren't already I would recommend that you start charting your cycles to get a better idea of when the ideal time is to conceive. I would recommend fertilityfriend.com to track and analyze your data.

If you try that and it doesn't work after a few months you may want to consider seeing a fertility specialist.

    Good luck to you!

  7. Im SO sry thta its taking so long to concieve, that must be horrible! But I think your list is set. Good Luck :)

  8. A BBT (Basal Body Thermometer) to track your temp (first thing in the morning before you even get out of bed).

Folic tablets or a pre-conception vitamin like Blackmore's Conceive Well Gold.

Youcould also try a Saliva Ovulation tester like OvuClear, or Maybe Baby saliva tester.

    Good Luck

  9. sounds like you have a great list to get things going in the right direction, but one tip i would like to share with you that i have learned by doing a little research.....do not use anything with spermicide in it, like KY Jelly, it kills off sperm a lot quicker making it harder to conceive.  i never knew that before :)  good luck!!!!

  10. Umm, I really don't know - perhaps talk to your OB.

    GOOD LUCK!!

  11. FOLIC ACID.(HELPS BABY SPINE AND DEVELOPMENT) BUT GOOD FOR WOMEN IN GENERAL

.. I WOULD TALK TO MY OBGYN THOUGH. THERE MAY BE A REASON WHY YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND ARE HAVING PROBLEMS. GOOD LUCK.
