Question:

Should I confront this co worker ?

I've been working for a company for over 4 years now, and I have gotten pretty well with all of the co workers/managers. I have actually been looking for a new job and will be going to interviews soon. I hadn't planned on giving my 2 weeks notice until I was assured that I had another job to depend on. Unfortunately I had told some of my co workers that I am close with that I was going to interviews. Low and behold, 2 days later my manager calls me asking me if I was planning on keeping my job. I have a feeling about who the snitch would be (she tends to have a big mouth), and I am really ticked off. Should I confront her? Or just not make a big deal?

  1. I would deny it all make the snitch look like a trouble maker "what are you talking about i aint leaving" who said i was leaving?

  2. keep quiet the next time.

  3. Unsure, but I'm with the answer above me.  Know the feeling, but have been working on it.  Pretty good at it now, but still have my moments of course.

  4. I would not make a big deal of it. The cat is out of the bag now - your manager knows - so why make it more difficult in your last weeks there?  If you have no plans on staying much longer, just ride the wave until you leave : )
