Question:

Should I get a breast reduction

Alright, I work in retail: clothing and lingerie. I was complaining to my one friend who works with me that I keep popping out of my bras, so I wanted her to measure me to see if I needed a different size. Let's just say, yes, I did. Where I thought that I was a D, turns out I'm between a DD and DDD. I wanted to shoot my b***s off at that point.

Would it be wise to get a breast reduction? I practically whack myself in the face if I need to run, lol. If so, I'd probably only go down to a C to D.

No, I am not fat. I am 5'6" 139 lbs.

  1. Unless you're experiencing serious back pain I don't think its worth getting the surgery.

  2. umm...if they don't cause you back pain...don't do it.

some might consider such things an asset! ;0)

  3. NO! Do not go there!  Whichever way God made you, let it be.  So many people totally regret these surgeries because there is pain, disfigurement, scars, and lots of money.  Just get the proper bra size for you.  They have some bras (in your better stores) that make you look dramatically smaller.  Also you can find blouses and dresses that will help you be minimized from waist up.   There are a variety of beautiful styles that will look good on you.   What you need is a designer and stylist, rather than a money hungry surgeon.  --- Toni D.

  4. You need to know that they completely remove your nipples, cut your b***s open both up & down and all the way across and then have to get your nipples back on in the right direction!  I wouldn't let em touch me!  You can if you have that much trust!

  5. YOUR opinion should be the only one that matters here.

If you have back pain you would greatly benefit from a breast reduction covered by insurance.

Contrary to what some say, a majority of girls who go through this surgery are totally happy and completely satisfied with the results.

And, depending on the procedure, your nipples may NOT be completely removed.  The scars are hardly noticeable, and I was in NO pain after surgery.

Check the URL in my sources and check out that site, it was very helpful to me.

  6. haha. Don't wanna kill yourself with those things! haha Yup

  7. It may be a good idea.  I have two family members that have had a breast reduction.  They've had it done because they were having back and knee problems because of the extra weight.
