  1. NO...

why? because there is NO SUCH THING as a "TEACUP" yorkie!

anyone claiming to sell teacup yhorkies are breeding subpar adults, usually fed a bad diet and even STARVED during pregnancy so the puppies will be stunted...

or they are selling the tiniest puppy of the litter A RUNT, these runts are usually the sicklyones and most likley to DIE in a litter...

they sell these dogs to people looking for a little purse puppy to add to their wardrobe for THOUSANDS of dollars because they know people dont actually do their reaserch.

this goes for teacup anything...there is only 1 teacup, its usually made of porceline and you drink tea out of it...

anyone selling "teacups" are either sellign these impliments of drinkage OR are breeders you want to run away as fast as you can from, unscrupulous people taking advantage of clueless people! (and ruining the health of some very nice little dogs!)

the yorkshire TERRIER, is a high energy breed with a big prey drive, they tend to be highly vocal and like to brak, quite alot, they also require a lot of excersize for such a small breed and lots of training!

    they also require frequent grooming!

i dont suggest any terrier for a first time doggy owner...

instead look into a maltese, shitzu or toy poodle, all are small, quieter breeds who are easier to train and better for first time owners.

and remember, if your getting a dog just because its "cute and small and i can carry it in a purse" go to the toystore and get one there...

my 3lb chihuahua may look like a delicat little baby doll to be used as a fashion acessory, but hes NOT...

he goes on 3mile hikes every day, he thinks hes 100lbs, the Only time he likes being carried is when hes tired and he will only wear a sweater if hes cold...

these dogs are NOT fashion acessories.

  2. They're walking vet bills that shouldn't be bred.

  3. There is A LOT you need to know, but you probably will not listen to what anyone has to say about any of the  so-called "teacup" pups any way. So go ahead and do what you want!  Don't say you were not warned.

  4. Well you should know that they are just unhealthy runts

But to answer your question, no you should not

Get a normal sized yorkie, but be sure to research and make sure it's right for you

  5. Although teacups are really cute dogs. They are very fragile and very unhealthy. Their organs are smaller so that they can fit in their bodies, and they can die so easily. However, if you want to get a small dog, get a Yorkie (Yorkshire Terrier), or what I got. A Pomeranian. Here's some pictures of Pomeranians.

  6. no don't support bad breeders

What you should know about it-

Teacup dogs don't exist. Breeders usually call the runts of the litter "teacups" cause they're so small. But when they are so small, they are undeveloped and have lots and lots of health issues. Which means thousands and thousands of dollars in vet bills...

Some breeders try to breed runts together (just passing down all the sicknesses), make the mother give birth way too early so the pups are tiny, starve the mothers, and many other sick ways of trying to create a "teacup" or "micro" pup to sell to rich eager women

  7. Make sure the Yorkies ok for where you live.Yorkies are ok to live with any house even an apartment they do not need a backyard they have fun inside but it still shouldn't be laying around the house. if you have a younger sibling that's too young to understand things do not get a yorkie because little kids don't know how to treat a dog. yorkies have weak bones. when i was small i hung my dog by its leash i could have choked him and i also made him do flips and he started to tremble because i thought he looked cute. i try not to remember those days.

  8. You should read about different pets and see which one your house/you and your family would be prepared to take care of. A dog is a lot of work.

Maybe talk to your local animal shelter first, those dogs and cats are usually very sweet and need good homes. Or google Yorkie rescues.

  9. I dont see why you would want to get a teacup dog.

    They can be highly breakable.

Ah, sigh, the only kind of "t-cup" dog breed is the kind that you find at a China Shop.

A T-cup Yorkie in REAL dogs is just a Poorly Bred, Sickly, Runty dog that comes from a long line of Poorly Bred Sickly Runts bred to Poorly Bred, Sickly Runts, to Produce More Poorly Bred, Sickly Runts.

So, you will end up with.....

OH YA! A POORLY BRED, SICKLY RUNT!!!

AKA a Vet bill with 4 legs.

If you really want a dog, dont get a Poorly bred runt.

Infact, I suggest not getting a yorkie period.

They are not very good "first time" dogs.

Not very many toy breeds are.

I suggest getting something like a Golden Retriever or a Labrador Retriever.

They are much Easier to Train, and are a lot better for "first time" dog owners.

    Good Luck.

    Hope This Helped.

    PERFECT POMS.

  10. There is no such thing as a teacup yorkie. A healthy normal yorkie is between 4 and 7lbs. There is no reason to have a dog less than that

  11. How about a eikory pucaet?
