Should I sell my Lampshades?

Question

Should I try and sell my lampshades that I made on ebay?

What do you guys think about them??

I am a little hesitant to sell them because I don’t know if they are good enough to sell :/

Do you guys think they are cute? And if you could buy one how much would you be wiling to pay?

Here are a couple of examples of what I have done so far: *note* the pictures of the last two are the unfinished versions! I still have to glue the bordering around the top and bottom and do some finishing touches!

Those are great!  I'd reccomend finding a small boutique or consignment shop that specializes in children's items, and seeing if they will let you place a few there for sale, just so you have a target audience and can get an idea of how much people are willing to pay for them.  Also-- you generate word of mouth this way far better than you would on eBay.

they are cute and I think they would sell with out a problem and would be great for a kids room between $5 -$10 depending on how much you have in them If you put alot of fringe or beading on them then you must charge more

You should probobly make your own little company

Just get a name and a tag and regester it as a trademark

Thenk handwrite your company's name on the back and you've got a company

You could make bids for them and see how much people usually pay for them

I'd start them on $15

Sure!  You may want to branch out and sell matching canvas art.  The supplies might be cheaper, and I think it's easier to paint on a larger scale.
