Should I study in the States?

I'm want to but school shooting, murder rates.. scare me..

how to stay safe? or how do you survive?

Don't bother, you don't sound like you have the drive. If the media reports scare you, I suggest you stay where you are.

By the way, what should scare you about studying in the states is the cost. On average, you will need $35,000 a year for tuition, room and board. That doesn't include spending money.

There are murders and shootings everywhere across the globe. Take your chances and go for it, and always use caution like you would wherever you go.
