that would be brilliant, but would he really be interested? the england job, which is more prestigious, will probably become available. he'd have a bigger pay packet there and better resources to work with. there are high expectations in ireland ans it's the end of an era.he'd have to rebuild and mightn't get immediate results, which could lead to pressure on his job. eddie jones would be good.he helped to mastermind sa's world cup victory and is acknowledged as being one of the best coaches in the game. other good candidates are alan gaffney, wayne smith and john mitchell.
