Should Pokemon Follow the same pattern?

Like they made Emerald which was the third game in the Ruby/Sapphire series, then remade Red/Blue. Then made Pearl/Diamond, and now their making Platnum. So really what I'm asking is after Platnum comes out, should they remake Gold/Silver, then make another 3 new series games, remake Ruby/Sapphire, ect ect?

I hope one day it comes to Xbox360 or Ps3 and plays like oblivion.Think what the game will look.I think they should change the pattern.
