Should debate be a class?

Yes.  There are so many theories and styles regarding debate.  Debate is not simply persuasion it is the oral presentation of an argument and facts.  

As an English teacher I simply do not have time to address, or practice all elements of this skill.  However, a semester long, elective class would be perfect for those looking to improve their powers of argument or persuasion.  As it would allow for time to focus on each style, and then practice.

No. debate should be in english as different types of persuasion methods are used in debating so it would normally be in english
