  1. no you shouldn't be charged again..if they "fixed" it it shouldn't have happened again...tell them this and be firm..they will work something out for you...don't ever get anythign done if the work is not guaranteed

  2. I always say how BMW sucks and every body gives me a thumbs down but for the amount they charge they should have some better techs and service.  To answer your question, technically, you should have to pay to have it fixed but you should also get a refund for the last repair that obviously did not fix the problem.  Keep all the receipts and keep track of mileage for proof and I would contact the Better Business Bureau to get some advice.  They are s******g you but without some help, you are stuck in a situation where you either pay or have a broken car.  Maybe even contact an attorney if they keep giving you trouble because they are taking advantage of you and it's not right.  Again BMW is the most overpriced pieces of **** on the market and it's a shame people have to learn the hard way.

  3. h**l no....

from what i read, i think you are shy, letting things go easily person. dont be like this!

just think to yourself.  if you pay for a hamburger, and you open it to find an insect in it, would you have to pay for another burger???

you paid 700$ to fix the dam problem with your car, this means, the car should be perfectly fine for a month or more. but this dam car had the same problem again on the same day.

    what a nonsense is this.

go with some of your friends to that store and demand him that you would not pay. because tell him that you did not fix it properly.

if he rejects, please take this to court. for god sake 700 dollar is big. nowadays people work hard to put foods on the table.

dont be silly and listen to the dealer. he is trying to rip you off.

please demand him to fix it if not take this to court.

    think outside the box!

you went to the dealer to fix a problem, and you have the same problem the same day.....

    what does this tell you???

he did not fix the dam problem properly...it is his dam fault....god if this person does this to me,..i would have pucnhed his face and said "what did you say" and if he says that again, i would punch him and say 'what did u say" untile he agrees to fix it properly...

    please dont pay....

ask your firends, ask your families..call another car company and ask them if you should pay or not ...and they would all say NOOOOOOOOOOO

    please dont pay again....

  4. no, you should not be charged, you had your car repaired at bmw, and then you have to pay, again? i say they should give you the repair for free

  5. no thats stupid they said it was fixed that means it was fixed and u should not have to pay for it

  6. No, not at all. Ask to see the owner of the shop first.   Evidently this shop is not reputable.  They saw you coming, and decided because you are a woman, they would make some money from your naivity.  Take 2 men with you.  Have them speak in your behalf and tell them to fix the car right.  When a car is not fixed right in a reputable shop, you can report this to the state department.  All car dealerships and shops receive thier licenses from the state in order to operate.  If the state department gets too many complaints, their license can be revoked.  This is what the shops fear most.  Look on their wall and copy down their number.  All shops have to post their license to operate on their wall.  Also go down to the Deparment of Motor Vehicles  and ask for the address and phone number of this division in the state.  Ask where you can get a form to fill out for complaints.  They should be able to direct you, however I do feel the 2 men who will go with you should be able to straighten it all out.  You will see them act much nicer.  --- Toni D.

  7. no i don't believe you should

  8. Three words:  Small Claims Court.

  9. I don't think you should be charged for the labor to find out why the car is not starting.  They should have figured that out the first time.

A repair for something else...that is different.

  10. no

  11. yes, they should charge you for the repair.

AFTER they have refunded the $700 for not doing the job right in the first place!

    theiving *************s

  12. no

  13. no you shouldnt

because they should just charge you once to get the whole thing figured out and repaired, and clearly wen u payed 700 it was for nothing because they didnt solve the problem. so no

  14. No! They should do a low fee if a fee at all!

their mess up not your fault!

  15. the only reason there askin for money is because there grettie but ur not suppose to be charged because its there fault

  16. Absolutely NOT.. If they said they fixed it and they obviously did not you do not have to pay them Call the Bureau of Automotive Repair NOW

If your car is still under warranty you do not have to pay either even if you do not take it to the dealership from which you bought it

  17. tell them sorry, I brought the car in and paid for it to be fixed and It is obviously NOT FIXED. with all the gizmo's and machines they should be able to fix the problem.

go on the offense instead of defence-demand to know who the person was who 'fixed' your car the first time and just what kind of credentials he has to be working on your type of vehicle. asking for the owner/manager in a firm no-nonsense voice might help too. see about getting a loaner why your at it.

  18. No, they are cheating you big time. Tell them you already paid them, now they have to fix the problem. If you can take a male family member who projects influence with you.

    Good luck!

  19. No, they didn't fix the problem. That happened to my brother before. He took his car to a mechanic, then it broke down the next day. My brother towed it back to the shop. They did not charge him because they didn't fix the problem the first time. I'm not sure if it's different with dealers though. Don't let them take advantage of you.

  20. no you should not be charged for the same parts or labor again. If they replace fusible links wirig or relays without finding and fixing the root problem then they are resposible for the second failure. You may have to pay for them to find and correct the real problem.Dont pay for the same thing that they fixed already.I would call BMW if they are an authorized dealer.

  21. Yes.  Your mechanic is driving an Americian car because they are easy to diagnose and repair. You choose to drive an expensive German car that's difficult to diagnose and repair.

  22. It may sound unfair but as long as you use their serrvice, you have to pay. Lucky they don't charge you just for listeing to you.

  23. no, you shouldnt..did they give you a warranty? i would ask to speak to the GM of the dealer you went to..or to the supervisor of the repair store..tell them you will file a complaint with the better business bureau and attorney general b/c you shouldnt be paying for the exact same problem which happened the same day, they had their chance to find out what was wrong and blew it!

  24. Do they guarantee their work?  Is your car under warranty?  Do not pay.  It should have been fixed in the first place.  Go to the manager and complain.  Tell them, you will put this in the hands of your lawyer. You can report this to better business or consumer agency.  Don't take this nonsense.

  25. no they shouldnt have charged because it's their fault that it had not been properly repaired in the first place!

  26. i would make them refund the money you paid them cause.... think about it.... you paid them that money to fix the problem. you signed a paper saying that the above items will be repaired and and replaced. that money was to fix the problem. which did not. so you are entitled to that refund. just be a real ***** to them haha it really works esp. if the person you are talking to is a new hire. hope this helps and good luck!

  27. thats not fair
