Should i buy the ipod touch?

Question

I would probably get the 8GB...is that enough for the average library?

Right now i only have about 231 songs but i will definitely be adding more songs...my library will always be growing...so that is the only thing i am worried about.

How is the internet connection and all the other features? it sounds pretty cool.

As far as the size goes that sounds fine for you. I have the 8GB nano and I have over 600 songs, 2 movies, and pictures and I still have over half my memory left, However, it depends on what you want to do with the iTouch. If you put everything on that device, such as your daily schedule, several movies, and a thousands songs or so, then maybe you should upgrade to the 16GB for another hundred dollars. It all depends on what you want to do with it. As far as how reliable the iTouch is, I can't really help you there, but I hope this helped you out a little. Good luck.

No don't get one yet. Apple will probably lower the prices of the touch in september when they update their ipod lines. And 8GB is not much memory at all. It's not a very good value. Once you start downloading some videos and movies etc. you will start running out of space REAL quick. If you get the touch, at least get the 16GB. Apple is probably going to drop the 8GB all together and introduce a 64GB model. But just wait until september.

no i think you should settle with the nano..i dont know the exact number of songs it can hold but the 4g can hold about 2000 and 8g can hold 4000 ( i think. ) as for the wi-fi if you think its worth it go for it. but ull get exercise by walking to the computer downloadin ur songs instead of sittin on ur bed lol.

hmm i have a 8gb ipod nano and i have 863 songs on there and iv'e only used about half of it, but some of the songs on their go for quite some time like 10-20 min...not many though...so on average probally about 2000 songs, possibly more im not quite sure, its all to do with the memory capacity and how much room in can hold, not how many songs, coz it depends how long they go for...i'd get it because throughout your whole life your music willbe growing =]

I have a 32GB Ipod Touch, and I have 463 songs and 17 videos. The video quality is perfect (and so is youtube!) and in my oppinion sound is too! The internet kind of depends on how fast the internet connection that you are connected to is. If it's slow than your ipod won't be very fast, but if the connections fast, then your ipod will be too. The picture quality is great, depending on the quality of the picture. The games are 1000 times better than the ones on the other ipods, they just cost more. You can have tons of emails as well! The contacts, calender, clock, notes, calculator, and weather are really useful. For me at least. I'm not sure if an 8GB is enough for the average library, I think that they hold like 800 songs or something. Hope this helps!

it is a definate buy. it can hold 1750 songs so i hope that enough for u. the connection is awesome and the other feaures rock! u can do so much stuff wit it, its amazing. 4 me, it was worth saving up 4 like 2 months 4 an 8gig. You wouldnt be disappointed if u buy one
