Should i call them back??

so i pretty much got the job..i think at the Coach at the parks mall, which is the closest mall to me. anddd, a couple days later i gave them a call back and asked if my background check went through and she was like, ''OH SHANNON! hiiiiiii, i've been meaning to call you but it's been so hectic with it being tax-free weekend and all, but uhhh the position is no longer availiable here at the store, and if i were to put you on the schedule, there wouldn't be any hours left, BUT i reallly really really want you on teh team so i sent your application to Hulen Mall in ft. worth (which is about 15 to 20 minute drive), told her about our interview and what now and she really wants to meet you and that she'll call you. so i said ok, and asked if she doesnt' call, should i call her. i know her name and such and wehre her location is. and the manager at the parks said that she'll call me on monday, which is today. soooo if she doesn't call me, should i call her?

Yes, call on Tuesday.  Don't forget to use the first ladies name a lot as reference.  May even want to call her too.  Just ask how the sale went, if there are any changes in her needs, and to keep you in mind for the future!

Definitely. Be persistent. It'll show them how serious and ready to work you are.

They're busy folks with lots on their plate.  It's up to you to call if you want the job.  It shows that you're interested and can take initiative (as long as you're not pushy or annoyed with them).  Success is mainly a matter of persistance.
