Should i complain to the lecturer?

I completed an assignment to the guidelines in the course outline. However the word limit changed and i missed this information that was apparently told to us in classes. A email was sent around which i read an hour before the assignment was due (although it had been sent 3 days before) so that was too late. Now they want me to not only alter my assignment but penalise me 10%. This seems unfair for something not my fault, should i complain?

i think you can do sth but remmeber it was your mistake too . because you didn't notice in the class well ,probably .

anyway , you can talk to the lecturer , can't you ?

It depends, but it's best to tell your lecturer what you can do to improve your grade. Perhaps, some extra credit work might help.
