Should i end this friendship?

Me and this girl has been friends since junior year...we are seniors now. But she has changed alot. she went from having low self esteem to i'm the **** and everybody wants to be me! I just don't get it!! She looks down on everyone and once when me and her wasn't talkin she talked about me behind my back and made up a rumor that i was cheating on my boyfriend. Omg i dont even know how to describe how she is! she's very materialistic...she got mad cuz she wanted sum shoes but couldn't get them so i thought they was cute and i brought them so she was talkin about me behind my back saying i wanted to be like her...she's phoney and i'm not sure i need a friend like that........i'm about to be 18 in 4 months and i'm trying to eliminate baggage from my life so please give me sum advice!

maybe dont hang around her but if you bump into her just be nice and smiley.

  Girl I've just recently went through something kinda similar to what your going through. I just turned 18 a month ago and maybe a week or so before that my "friends" and I got into some big time arguments. In my opinion if "friends" are gonna talk about you behind your back their not your friends...just some more fake *** ppl in this world. My advice is to just drop her and make new friends [=.

how about this. give her the cold shoulder and avoid her... she'll get the idea that you want the friendship to be over and won't bother you anymore!
