Question

i was wondering if i should get japanese hair straightening?

how long does it last?

can i let it air dry and will it dry straight?

do i still need to flat iron it?

btw i have wavy-ish hair

It's been said it stays like that forever but of course your hair will grow and then you'll have to cut it off. =[

if you don't have any color have it ionically straightened. It will stay straight when u get out of the shower.

IDK what japanises hair straightner is.

But I know IONIC is good for your hair.

Don't do it.  

1.  It's an expensive and lengthy process

2.  You risk breaking your hair

3.  It does last a year

4.  Sometimes you may want to run a flat iron through your hair

I had it done 2 years ago and it was the worst mistake I ever made in my life.  My hair is just now getting back to normal.  If you do choose to do this process make sure you eat lots of protein and fish oil pills everyday.  This will eliminate breakage and make your hair thicker and longer.  Good Luck

if straight hair is truly what you want, go for it !!!

of course you have to keep in mind that once you permanently straighten your hair, it won't be curly (or wavy) again until it grows out. it lasts about 3 months, and if it air dries it will be straight, you can still flat iron it to make it more sleek but it will most definitely still be straight :)

NO i would not get that..because a couple of my friends got it..and there hair came out more frizzer and not straight at all.

do it!  it keeps your hair smooth and as long as you are using a good shampoo it stays shiny and manageable.  You shouldn't have to straight iron it unless you sleep with it in a bun or something.  it last about 8 months, at least for me.

my coworker had that done...now she doesnt need to do anything to it in the morning for it to be straight....no you dont need to flat iron it because then there would be no point in getting it straightened.

It will last forever, BUT....when new hair starts to gorw out of your scalp, that new hair will be your natural hair: wavy.

Whatever hair is straightened will air dry straight, you don't need to flat-iron it.

Basically, after about 2-3 months, when your roots grow in, they will be wavy and you may look like your scalp is fuzzy.

if u only hav wavyish hair u shud definately NOT get a japanese straightening they put so much chemicals in ur hair it makes ur hair really damaged...i know a girl who has been doin it for a few yrs her hair is very straight but its completly dead...it lasts around 6 months btw and if u got it u wudnt need to iron it but i dont think u shud get it...if u really want sumthing get a relaxing it relaxes the curl and reduces frizz i hav it and my hair still looks very healthy it also lasts for 6 months and if doesnt damage the hair as much

i guess you mean like getting it relaxed.? like a perm but straight.

or do you mean like straightening it. like with a flat iron thingy.

because if you get it relaxed, yes it stays.

but a flat iron is just a few days unless you get it wet or something.

well i guess your saying relaxed cuz you asked if you had to flat iron it.

no you dont need to straight iron it the first couple of months,

but later on youll need to go over it with a flat iron to make the freeziness go away.

i wouldnt recommend you getting it, unless you have long thin hair with just a little waves..

but if you have thick hair, with a lot of waves, then itll damage your hair and make it apear puffier then it is.
