  1. It all depends on what you want. Just because your crush goes to public school doesnt mean you have to go, but it is another reason. Usually you get more interaction in going to public school and you get better social skills. But you dont get as much one on one interaction as with homeschooling. And you usually have more freedom with home schooling. It all depends on which you rather more. Try listing the pros and cons of home school and public school and see which one is better for you.

  2. I would say that being homeschooled makes you more interesting to guys in public school. They are with those girls all day. With you there is some mystery and unknowns....some reason to spend time with you.

That being said-Choose what you really want. Don't give up something you love for a guy. Be true to your self!! You will never regret that.

And many 7th grade guys are clueless that girls even like them. I have a 14 and 16 year old. The girls all have crushes on them-they  surf and practice karate. They are almost completely clueless. Don't take his lack of attention as that he doesn't like you.

    Best of luck,

  3. I think you should home school and keep away from "crushes"  There is plenty of time for that later.  This is your chance to really excel in schooling and get a great job and THEN win the love of our life!

    EDIT:

Depending on how you are home schooled you prob. get more socialization then the public schooled.  The public school only socializes you to 50 plus more of the same aged kids (mostly teaching you cliques and stuff), as a home schooled you have the opportunity to excel at a faster rate in your schooling then you have ample time to socialize with all diff. people (from the local hospital where you can volunteer to the library to local classes and museums)  Home schooled kids a lot of time have BETTER social skills then normal kids because they know how to talk to EVERY age.

Don't listen to the jargon!  Do what is right for you.

  4. How did you do in home shcool? If you did well why would you want to change? You didn't mention what grade you will be in the fall. How about getting involved in other outside activities like music, drama, chess, or sports? You may even bump into your crush!

  5. There is more to learning than just classes.  School provides you an opportunity to learn things other than class work [ie. socializing, diversity, etc]

  6. I think you should go to public school.

Personally I'd love to be home schooled because I feel like my school doesn't give me enough to do and some of the lessons are way too easy.

But if I were in your position I'd go to public school because it's a much better environment and it's kinda nice getting away and meeting people and so on.

Plus crushes can be a lot of fun, they are one of the bright sparks of going to a public school, they always seem to make your day interesting.

But try to think of your education first, if you are doing quite advanced material when you've been home schooled then you may find public school work too easy and there will be a gap in which you could have learnt a lot.

  7. well if you really like mainstream schooling then go to a regular public school but if not than stay in public school.

  8. stay homeschooled, you are so lucky i wish i was. trust me, public schools suck.
