Question:

Should i take AS level physics?

ive just gt my gcse results. i did a duel award in science and got a* in additional science and a in science. but i got an a* in both the physics modules of these. i got an A in my maths but am not planning on taking it next year. do you think i will beable to take AS physics and do well, i will try hard and work at it. what grade would i be looking at getting?

  1. Thanks for asking this question. I got the same grades as you in science but an A* in maths. I'v been thinking 'am I smart enough to do it' cos some people who get A*'s at GCSE get like C's and D's but the only difference is that we are willing to put the work in so we should just go for it. It wouldn't be there as an A level if it wasn't possible to achieve a good grade in it. Well done with your GCSE's and good luck with your A levels- You can achieve! lol.

  3. Last year I got a D in maths and a D in science, and I did as physics. I found it hard but with the results you've got you should definetly go for it! I think you will be expecting a high grade from it!

    Just remember to do lots of revision before the exams.

  4. From your results i would say yeah take it! You need to have at least a C in maths i think and you got an A so you will do well perhaps A grades!
