Should i take the managers position?

Its up for grabs @ my job & its been offerd to me 3 times before. Everytime it was offered, upper mgmt said that it was MINE. & EVERYTIME i was overlooked. Now i am the only one who is qualified for the position & im not sure if i want it now... any suggestions???

I have to disagree with BeatDrop.  You can't go back.Once you take a promotion  and don't like it or don;t do well,  they won't give you your old job back.

  Having said this, if you aren't sure you want  it or aren't sure you can handle it, just stay where you are.

i think its a great opportunity for you. better salary and it looks good on your resume. and anyway, if u dont like the position you can just go back to your old job. why not have go!
