  1. I would say that it is up to the parents and the way that they brought up their child, if the child is trustworthy then no but if the child is a troublemaker then yes.

  2. Absolutely, in fact it should be required. If the teen isn't doing anything wrong they have nothing to worry about. Not to mention that if the car is in the parents name they are responsible for it.

  3. That is some Draconian measures, I mean its worst than a ankle braclet , cars are supposed to be about independence and trust, all these measures don't sound very trust worthy t all. I don't agree at all unless the driver has a history of untrustworthiness.

  4. no

  5. If the teens conduct has been in the past where there is not a level of full trust,   h**l YES,  track them.

The parents are responsible for the minor children,  and always have every right to know where they are,  who they are with,  and what they are doing at any given moment.    If they choose to use technology,  so be it.    If the teen resents "Big Brother"  looking over their shoulder,   they should question the parents as to why they believe this is necessary,  and correct their conduct as needed.   The trust of parents can be earned,  but it only takes one stupid act,  such as sneaking out or getting picked up by the popo,   to blow it all.

  6. Yes, I think it could save lives. There are several teenage drivers that live in my neighborhood and they drive like manaics. Maybe a device like this would slow them down.

  7. Well....I think that if parents trust their children, they should give them their space and privacy.....

But if there are reasons that parents may not trust their kids then Yes i think they should use it for safety reasons....and that is to show how much parents are worried and care about their children's saftety.....^_^

  8. You mean the parents who are financially responsible for any and all damage a teen may cause while driving?

You mean the parents who may have bought the car or pay the insurance?

    Yes, it seems reasonable.

  9. I'm alive

and if my parents had skyguard when I was a teen I'd still be grounded .As it is they did not. When I bought my first car a 72 chev caprice classic ragtop with a 454 v8 engine they couldnt stop me then. but, if the car belongs to them and they are paying the insurance, It's kinda their right really to keep tabs on ya. My advice. save up and buy a ride with thats all yours.

                              Good luck and happy motorin'

  10. If you have any reason to distrust your child...if they're getting into trouble, then yes.

If you have no reason to distrust your child, don't give them any reason to distrust you.
