Yeah from all the annoying kids they have to deal with and all the c**p they go through it is ridiculous on how little they get paid yet celebrities are more important! Lol what a bad message.

Yes, but you run into trouble when you realize that their pay will never be equal to (let alone) greater than the administrator's pay.  And the administrator is grossly over-paid.  Sorry, but the superintendent doesn't rate (in my opinion) $200,000 plus per year.  Nor does the school board who meets twice monthly.

I think that they should be paid according to how much they deserve; those that go above and beyond should be paid above average and the  glorified babysitters who don't really care about teaching should be paid less.
