Well, first you must realize what the war is about, and why it is happening.

This is a one-world cause.  This world is too inter-connected now.  Everyone must be on the same page.  We all need each other in one way or another.

Rogue nations...nations which espouse the elimination of Israel, or the Jews, for example...or nations which seek to undermine the economies of the world's strongest nations...can not be allowed to propagate.

This is a war for control.  Control of natural resources, for sure, but also control of influence and power.  Which side are you on?

If you are thinking Obama is going to end it if he is elected-well you better research your boy some more.

Go to his website. Read the Obama plan. Right on his website it says he will remove a certain number of soldiers from Iraq and send them to Afghanistan, to expand the war there. Also, he says he will leave a residual number of troops in Iraq to fight terrorists. Now i ask you-how on earth is that ending the war as he claims he is going to do?

the war can't end.  if we end it now then everything we've been fighting for for the last 5 and a half years will have been lost.  we are there not to fight but to protect the innocent citizens of iraq and keep the peace.  we are there to aid their still forming government and military.  in addition to all of that, we're still catching terrorists before they attack us.  yes, they are still planning terror attacks, all the time.  if we just pull out now then we'll be in more danger here then we ever were before.  it's not a matter of should it continue, it's a matter that it needs to continue.  the fighting is pretty much over.  now it's basically maintaining all the progress we've made so far and improving on it.  we're doing a lot of good over there, the news and media just doesn't like to show that

you mean Georgian war.  That is the only war now and that too ended with an agreement signed by Georgia and moscow.  The troops are slowly withdrawing.  Finally, Russia won.  it will not continue, but if again Georgia begin to claim south ossetia, then Georgia will be crushed.

if you mean iraq, the war already over.  U.S.A  ruined the iraq maximum possible leaving the oil wells.  The U.S.Troops will be there until the iraqi govt says to get out.

i dont think the situation in iraq can be called a war,

its policing an insecure country not a war,

and if that ends ther would be chaos and peacekeepers have to go back in

Wars help the military continue their purpose which is to perpetuate itself.

More tanks and more medals and more rapes and body bags. Its a great enterprise that's been going on for far longer than one can imagine.

It also helps rid the world of misfits who can be drafted into the army and go die somewhere as heroes.

And it helps keep the population in check.Its a sort of culling.

So it should not stop.Just make sure your boy doesn't join up.

What kind of war? Psychological war or coward war? I am sad the world would be ending by friction interhuman-relationship. We should bring peace in everywhere with more respect. A giant country must treat other countries well. Because we are living in the same Earth, with the same God. Why must we get separated?

In a sense I want the war to end but I still want North America to be secure. On one hand troops are dying but on the other hand we don't want to bring that chaos home.

It should've NEVER happened in the first place. The LONGER it goes on, the MORE money we're throwing away... & the WORSE our Economy is going to get...  :(

It needs to end. The U.S. is now $400 Billion in debt,  and you, your children and grandchildren will have to pay that off. It would have been wiser if that money had been spent on getting Bin Laden in Pakistan/Afghanistan, instead of WMD that never existed.
