Sirius??  Does it sound like "serious"?  Well, I can only think of what kind of jokes will surround this name as your child grows up.  It reminds me also of the satellite radio station.

I don't like it, makes me think of Howard Stern and Sirius sateltte radio(even though Sirius satellite will soon be merging with XM and the name will go away).  If you like "s" names some cool ones, are

Shamus, Seorus or Solaris

"c" names could be Cyrus, Christos or Calais
